Idea Exchange: The Science of Feedback

The Idea Exchange is an event where NLI shares research about a topic and hear feedback and ideas from attendees. It is designed to encourage discussion and networking with a main idea in mind. We are inviting local HR and talent leaders in the Milwaukee area and look forward to providing breakfast, a research briefing, and time for networking with peers. The event will be hosted by Patricio Ramal, Sr. Research & Solutions Consultant, and Catherine Frels, Research Facilitator.

Research shows that people need to ask for feedback explicitly, broadly, and often. Being mentally prepared to receive feedback will mitigate the mental threat that arises when feedback is given. It also allows managers to give more constructive criticism.
